Fellowships begin Fall 2026
The University of Central Florida’s Institute of Artificial Intelligence (IAI) invites applications from highly motivated candidates to pursue a Ph.D. in applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI). We seek individuals aspiring to explore unique applications of AI and contribute to innovative research across science, engineering, the arts and the humanities. This opportunity is designed for scholars whose research passions lie at the intersection of AI and their home fields such as Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Physics, Chemistry, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Education, Medicine, Material Science, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science and Sustainability, Business Administration and Management, Economics, Music and Performing Arts, Journalism and Communication, Law and Policy, etc.
Program Details
– Selected candidates will be co-supervised by one IAI faculty member and one UCF faculty member from the candidate’s chosen discipline, ensuring strong interdisciplinary guidance and research alignment.
– $30,000 stipend per year and tuition.
